Flood Relief Work in Andra Pradesh & Karnataka
The Bengaluru branch of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha has started its Relief Work among the flood affected people of Raichur district of north Karnataka. Led by Swami Shivapremanandaji, a relief team comprising Monks, Brahmacharins and volunteers are camping there amidst the affected people left in the lurch caused by the devastating flood. Cooked foods, cloths, Sarees, blankets, tarpaulins, Mats etc. are being distributed to the most needy people after proper survey for the last 7 days in Chikmanchali, Kolur, N. Malkapur, Tungabhadra, Talmari villages. The relief work needs to continue for more than a week.
